I lost steam on this a while back, but still ended up watching about 40 movies because of one magazine issue, so it seems worth revisiting.<\/p>\n<p>Twelve of the most obvious directors, and the films of theirs I had seen, were listed on the original page (and I forget why I was angry with Film Comment back then, but I resubscribed to it and Filmmaker last year) &#8211;
