Of the three, this will be the endlessly rewatchable one &#8211; extremely sharp dialogue, editing and performances &#8211; especially from Regina Hall as a restaurant manager having a complicated day.  I love this movie so much, but don&#8217;t want to write about it now, will instead link to <a href=\"https:\/\/film.avclub.com\/hooters-is-where-the-heart-is-in-the-winning-indie-come-1828493866\">Mike D&#8217;Angelo in AV Club<\/a>.<\/p>\n<p>Having a hard time figuring how the same filmmaker made the unwatchably mumblecore <em><a href=\"\/journal\/archives\/254\">Mutual Appreciation<\/a><\/em>, the playfully bizarre <em><a href=\"\/journal\/archives\/9168\">Computer Chess<\/a><\/em>, and this much slicker, almost mainstream comedy.<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>A good pick to follow up Beale Street and Leave No Trace &#8211; another movie full of loveliness.
