I watched Wes Anderson&#8217;s intro to that, then moved straight to this mid-length (or long-short) followup to <em><a href=\"\/journal\/archives\/11916\">Rat Film<\/a><\/em>, very much a precursor to the electronic surveillance of <em><a href=\"\/journal\/archives\/14283\">All Light, Everywhere<\/a><\/em> &#8211; what is observable and provable, either by man or by camera\/computer, etc.<\/p>\n<p>Then Katy and I watched a beautiful copy of <em><a href=\"\/journal\/archives\/9864\">Broadway by Light<\/a><\/em>, and I meant to follow up with the Canadian\/Chinese table tennis doc by Marcel Carri\u00e8re, but instead rewatched <em><a href=\"\/journal\/archives\/14378\">Perfect Fifths<\/a><\/em>.<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>Really very uninterested in tennis, so of course when I sign up to Metrograph they are showing tennis films, centering on William Klein&#8217;s doc The French.
