My second modern b\/w movie in a row &#8211; this one looked significantly worse than <em><a href=\"\/journal\/archives\/14906\">Macbeth<\/a><\/em>.  Per Phil Coldiron in Cinema Scope, Pelechian has written academically about montage, and this is his first film in almost 30 years.
