William Bendix of <em>The Blue Dahlia<\/em> and <em>Lifeboat<\/em> is the army guy after Mitchum for the stolen money, turns out he&#8217;s in cahoots with the ex.  Everyone flees to Mexico and runs into The Inspector General (Ramon Novarro, very good, starred in the 1925 <em>Ben-Hur<\/em>).
