It didn&#8217;t work out &#8211; I&#8217;d just go on and on like I do now, but instead of writing my own thing for my own self, I was aiming to describe why You, The Reader should be interested in each movie.  Ugh.  I just read through these again, and the only one I enjoyed was this piece on <em>Goodbye Dragon Inn<\/em>, though it worked better with white text on a black background.<\/p>\n<p>&#8211;<br \/>\nWhat does <em>Goodbye Dragon Inn<\/em> want from me?<br \/>\n<img decoding=\"async\" src=\"http:\/\/deeperintomovies.net\/journal\/image09\/dragoninn1.jpg\" alt=\"image\"><\/p>\n<p>What do I want from <em>Goodbye Dragon Inn<\/em>?<br \/>\n<img decoding=\"async\" src=\"http:\/\/deeperintomovies.net\/journal\/image09\/dragoninn2.jpg\" alt=\"image\"><\/p>\n<p>Some reviewer on the IMDB calls it &#8220;spectacularly dull&#8230; limp&#8230; smitten with its own stasis&#8221;.<br \/>\n<img decoding=\"async\" src=\"http:\/\/deeperintomovies.net\/journal\/image09\/dragoninn3.jpg\" alt=\"image\"><\/p>\n<p>Stylus Magazine calls it &#8220;yet another masterpiece&#8230; starkly minimal&#8230; sublime&#8221;.<br \/>\n<img decoding=\"async\" src=\"http:\/\/deeperintomovies.net\/journal\/image09\/dragoninn4.jpg\" alt=\"image\"><\/p>\n<p>Who is right?<br \/>\n<img decoding=\"async\" src=\"http:\/\/deeperintomovies.net\/journal\/image09\/dragoninn5.jpg\" alt=\"image\"><\/p>\n<p>They are both right.<br \/>\n<img decoding=\"async\" src=\"http:\/\/deeperintomovies.net\/journal\/image09\/dragoninn6.jpg\" alt=\"image\"><\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>Briefly in 2004 I thought I&#8217;d like to be a film reviewer.
