I tuned in because of a connection between this series and documentarian Adam Curtis in later seasons, but now I&#8217;ll have to hold off watching those later seasons for fear of catching <em>Wire<\/em> spoilers in the raving recaps.  The show kind of works as a best-and-worst-of television.  Now I can feel more connected to society, because I know what <em>Deal Or No Deal?<\/em> is, as well as major differences between the US and UK versions.
