He is unsure of himself&#8230; only gets four words into the title (in a hasty typeface) before giving up.<br \/>\n<img decoding=\"async\" src=\"http:\/\/deeperintomovies.net\/journal\/image08\/glorykitano01.jpg\" alt=\"image\"><\/p>\n<p>He tries a bunch of different genres:<br \/>\n<img decoding=\"async\" src=\"http:\/\/deeperintomovies.net\/journal\/image08\/glorykitano02.jpg\" alt=\"image\"><\/p>\n<p>But none of them are working out.  It&#8217;s all been done before.<br \/>\n<img decoding=\"async\" src=\"http:\/\/deeperintomovies.net\/journal\/image08\/glorykitano03.jpg\" alt=\"image\"><\/p>\n<p>Wait&#8230; what about a comedy with a girl, her mother and a duck puppet?<br \/>\n<img decoding=\"async\" src=\"http:\/\/deeperintomovies.net\/journal\/image08\/glorykitano04.jpg\" alt=\"image\"><\/p>\n<p>Yes!  Kitano is triumphant&#8230; he shall film this comedy!<br \/>\n<img decoding=\"async\" src=\"http:\/\/deeperintomovies.net\/journal\/image08\/glorykitano05.jpg\" alt=\"image\"><\/p>\n<p>Throw in some more characters&#8230; a cross-dressing mad scientist and his giant robot:<br \/>\n<img decoding=\"async\" src=\"http:\/\/deeperintomovies.net\/journal\/image08\/glorykitano06.jpg\" alt=\"image\"><\/p>\n<p>Aaaaand we&#8217;re off:<br \/>\n<img decoding=\"async\" src=\"http:\/\/deeperintomovies.net\/journal\/image08\/glorykitano07.jpg\" alt=\"image\"><\/p>\n<p>But wait, things are starting to fall apart.  The film crew is spotted, effects and costumes and backgrounds are revealed to be artificial.  The narrative is making no sense.<br \/>\n<img decoding=\"async\" src=\"http:\/\/deeperintomovies.net\/journal\/image08\/glorykitano08.jpg\" alt=\"image\"><\/p>\n<p>Finally a series of giant explosions destroy it all&#8230; the comedy, the genre stories, all the Kitano identities and characters and false sets!<br \/>\n<img decoding=\"async\" src=\"http:\/\/deeperintomovies.net\/journal\/image08\/glorykitano09.jpg\" alt=\"image\"><\/p>\n<p>The title!  Glory!  No uncertainty anymore!<br \/>\n<img decoding=\"async\" src=\"http:\/\/deeperintomovies.net\/journal\/image08\/glorykitano10.jpg\" alt=\"image\"><\/p>\n<p>Kitano&#8217;s final diagnosis:<br \/>\n<img decoding=\"async\" src=\"http:\/\/deeperintomovies.net\/journal\/image08\/glorykitano11.jpg\" alt=\"image\"><\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>It seems that Kitano wants to make a new film.
